Overview
Plantal Support reached out to me for help refining their logo and strengthening their brand identity. Their previous logo meaningfully reflected their products and philosophy, but it was over complicated. They needed a design that reflected their business and simple enough to be easily laser-cut into their products. With this in mind, I set out to create a unique, modern logo that captures their essence while being simple, memorable, and versatile!

Adapting & Modernizing Previous Design
When redesigning Plantal Support’s logo and brand, I took inspiration from the original design. The owner shared how it resembles a heart formed by a body embracing itself, mixed with plants and a moss pole.
I loved this heartfelt concept and reimagined it into a new design that stays true to the original theme while feeling modern and refined!

Design Starts with Sketching
Sketching is a fun step for me! It helps me explore ideas freely without the pressure of perfection.
As I sketched, I also made sure to keep in mind that this business isn't just about selling plant products - it’s also a student support fundraiser for mental health representing resilience and support.

Trial - Error - Success!
Even after creating a generalized logo concept, there is more to do!
Layout, fonts, line thickness, colours - It all matters! While consulting the client, I reiterated and made tweaks to the logo until it resonated with their new brand identity.
